Kuranowa K VG10 Damascus Kiritsuke Petty 135mm – Pakka Wood

€136,00

A compact Japanese utility knife combining the precision of a petty with the distinctive K-tip profile of a Kiritsuke.

The Kuranowa K Kiritsuke Petty 135mm is designed for detailed kitchen work where a full-sized chef’s knife feels too large. Its 135mm blade gives excellent control for trimming, portioning, slicing smaller ingredients and precision preparation.

VG10 Core – 67-Layer Damascus

At the heart of the blade is VG10 stainless steel, a popular Japanese knife steel known for its combination of sharpness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.

The VG10 core is surrounded by 67-layer Damascus cladding, creating the striking flowing pattern visible across the blade. This gives the knife a premium appearance while retaining the practicality of a stainless-steel construction.

Kiritsuke-Style K-Tip

The angular K-tip isn't only about appearance. Its fine point provides excellent precision for detailed cuts, scoring, trimming and working around smaller ingredients.

Combined with the compact 135mm length, it makes this knife particularly useful for:

  • Trimming meat and fish
  • Portioning smaller ingredients
  • Slicing garlic, shallots and herbs
  • Preparing fruit and vegetables
  • Detailed and precision cuts
  • General utility work on the cutting board

Pakka Wood Handle

The knife is finished with a Pakka wood Japanese-style handle, providing a comfortable grip while complementing the Damascus blade with a clean, understated appearance.

Why Choose a 135mm K-Tip Petty?

A 135mm petty sits in a very useful position between a small paring knife and a chef's knife. You get enough blade length to work comfortably on a cutting board while maintaining considerably more control for detailed tasks. The pointed K-tip makes this version especially attractive for cooks who value precision, versatility and distinctive Japanese styling.
